Tanga Special Seats MP Husna Sekiboko highlighted the updated Education and Training Policy (2014, 2023 Edition), which prioritises skills-based learning in areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, computer science, and industrial technologies.

She said the Samia Scholarship Fund will support the training of scientists locally and abroad, while improved digital connectivity between rural and urban schools will enhance curriculum delivery.

Morogoro South East MP Hamis Shabani Taletale described the extension of compulsory education to 10 years as a transformative reform that will allow more rural youth to access practical and vocational training.
