RK. Charitas Hospital Improves Emergency Communications with Spok Clinical Alerting

Charitas employs Spok’s effective wireless messaging solution to improve emergency communications across the entire organisation. With emergency call buttons located throughout the hospital, caregivers simply push a button and the Spok clinical alerting solution sends a notification to the appropriate staff member’s pager. Additionally, when a code blue occurs, staff can pick up a nearby phone and dial into the Spok solution to quickly initiate notifications to the right on-duty code team. The alerts include the specific location of the emergency, which improves response times by enabling staff to arrive at the right location without spending time searching for the patient.

“We’re seeing a growing trend of Indonesian hospitals empowering caregivers with more mobile communication tools, and Charitas Hospital has emerged as a leader,” said John Jordan, Spok’s regional vice president – APAC. “Spok solutions’ ability to send informative messages to mobile team members within seconds enables Charitas to provide more efficient care.”
