Mark Davis trained at Warners in the early 1980s and after working for firms in East Grinstead and London he returned to Warners as a partner in 1988.
Mark will take on the role of Senior Partner, following Mark Rosser’s retirement. In addition to his responsibilities as Senior Partner, Mark will continue his role as a partner in the firm’s commercial property team where he specialises in all areas of commercial property, including: real estate portfolios, development acquisition and landlord and tenant transactions.
David Wilson, chairman at Warners, said: “Mark is an excellent choice to take over from Mark Rosser. He has extensive knowledge of the local area and has built up strong relationships with the community through his involvement with local organisations, including: representing the Cage Green ward on Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council; being a Trustee of Tonbridge and Malling Leisure Trust and as a governor of Tonbridge Grammar School.”
Mark Davis said: “Having been brought up in Tonbridge and associated with Warners for most of my professional life, I am very pleased to take on the role of Senior Partner. Warners has gone from strength to strength under Mark Rosser’s dedicated leadership, and demand for its services, for both businesses and private individuals, continues to grow.”
Jeremy Ward, currently Warners’ finance director, has been appointed as the new chief executive. In his new role Jeremy will be responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of the firm.
Jeremy said: “I am delighted to take on this new role within the firm at such an exciting time. Warners is well known for giving sound, pragmatic advice to its clients and is regularly recognised by the legal directories as being one of the best law firms in the South East. I am especially proud of the community work that it undertakes, including working with Age UK and supporting local sports clubs.”
