Revelation Gives Wisdom and Hope in Difficult Days

Congregations around the world celebrated the Day of Revelation this past Sunday, 14th July 2024. Was the timing another example of Divine Intervention?

More than 2000 churches took to the pulpit to remind their congregants that God has not forgotten them. To this end, the Churches used the newly released song and video written and sung by Country Western performer, John Rich.

As in the Book of Revelation God gives to his people a stunning picture of the glory of Christ and of God’s sovereign rule over history, John Rich brings it to life in his new video: Revelation. (Download the link below.)

Reminding their congregants that God’s ultimate purposes in salvation and judgment presents a transcendent, God-centered perspective on reality, and challenges the people of God to evaluate their troubles in light of God’s present rule and future triumph.

They know their congregants, at times, have been overwhelmed by the hardships of life. If you add in the turmoil taking place in our nation and our world, these feelings can quickly turn into hopelessness.

The book of Revelation reminds us that God has not abandoned His mission and that one day the victory claimed by Jesus’s death and resurrection will be felt permanently and holistically.
