EZ Newswire pricing (2026): what Starter, Plus and Premium include

EZ Newswire charges per release: Starter costs $750, Plus $1,250 and Premium $1,500, and Enterprise is priced on request. There is no subscription and no charge for word count, images or logos. What changes from one package to the next is mainly which publishers carry the release, from AP on every plan to Reuters on Premium only. Every EZ Newswire figure here comes from its own pages, checked on October 23, 2026, with the prices re-checked on October 25, 2026.

EZ Newswire is a trading name of Vivid Group Holdings, Inc., which gives New York as its headquarters in its terms of service. It calls itself “the newswire built for AI performance”, and its packages are built around two things: placement on named publishers, and reports on how AI tools cite your release. Presswire, which publishes this guide, is a different kind of service, and we compare the two below.

Prices are in US dollars, per release. EZ Newswire’s pricing page doesn’t mention sales tax or VAT.

Premium is marked “most popular”. Enterprise is for “higher volumes”, through agency and enterprise packages quoted by EZ’s sales team, and the FAQ says discounts are available for agencies and brands that publish more often.

What each step up buys

Starter, $750. AP and AP Newsroom distribution, EZ Newswire’s own newsroom and EZ100, which the FAQ describes as a network of “small local and regional publishers” covering 100+ sites. Reporting is a summary and a downloadable distribution report.

Plus, $1,250. Adds Fortune and USA Today, replaces EZ100 with the larger EZ300 network of 300+ sites, and adds pickup tracking, search indexing and keyword reports, site visit and link click tracking, and what EZ calls “AI visibility optimization”.

Premium, $1,500. Adds Reuters, Yahoo Finance and Business Insider, plus EZ’s AI reporting: AEO (answer engine optimization) insights, AI prompt monitoring and AI brand presence. It also includes post-publish edits on Reuters and Fortune, expedited processing and priority support. The FAQ says Reuters is “not available on Starter or Plus” and that Reuters distribution “is available only through EZ Newswire”. That exclusivity is EZ’s own claim; we haven’t verified it independently.

The step from Starter to Plus costs $500 and brings the first two national titles, Fortune and USA Today. The step from Plus to Premium costs $250, and it is the only route to Reuters and Yahoo Finance at EZ.

If you want one outlet rather than a bundle, the FAQ says EZ “can enable individual publisher checkout” on request. It doesn’t publish a price for that.

What “published on Reuters” means

This is the question that matters most, and EZ Newswire answers it plainly. Its FAQ says a release “published on Yahoo Finance” is “syndicated to Yahoo Finance’s wire feed and appears on the Yahoo Finance site as distributed content”, and that the same is true of Reuters, Fortune, Business Insider, USA Today and AP. In its words, “placement means syndication to that outlet, not an editorial feature written by that outlet’s staff.”

What you buy, then, is a page. EZ’s How it works page describes “a real page on their domain, with its own URL, that you can send to anyone.” That has real uses: a release on a well-known domain is easy to find, easy to link to and, as EZ argues, a source AI tools can read. What it isn’t is coverage. A Reuters reporter hasn’t chosen to write about your news because your release appears on reuters.com.

The distinction runs across the whole industry, not just EZ. Editorial pickup is a journalist deciding your announcement is a story. Syndication is your release republished as you supplied it. Both have value, and they are priced differently because they are different things.

The AI reporting

EZ Newswire puts AI at the center of its pitch. Its How it works page says AI platforms “read sources and cite them” and that EZ tracks releases across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Perplexity. Plus includes “AI visibility optimization”, and Premium adds reports that, in the FAQ’s words, “monitor prompts, citations, and brand presence across major AI platforms.”

Those are measurement features: they show where a release turns up in AI answers. EZ doesn’t claim a release will be cited, and no service can promise that, because what an AI assistant quotes depends on the question it is asked. If tracking AI citations matters to you, at EZ it’s a Premium feature.

Payment, refunds, timing and language

  • Per release, no contract. In the FAQ’s words, EZ “is priced per release with no contract or subscription tiers to maintain.”
  • Payment. By card through Stripe, with methods that depend on your region. Agency and enterprise accounts can ask for invoicing.
  • Refunds. EZ’s terms of service, effective June 22, 2026, say “all fees and charges are non-refundable”, including bundle purchases and unused credits.
  • Timing. Submission takes minutes. Once a release “passes verification and meets EZ Newswire’s content guidelines, publication is usually same-day”, unless you schedule it for later.
  • Language. Releases must be in English and there is no translation service, although EZ’s editors will help with copy that reads awkwardly after translation.
  • Who can use it. You don’t need a US company. The FAQ uses a South Korean company as its example.
  • Content rules. Every plan includes editorial review, and EZ’s content guidelines separate what is prohibited outright, such as deceptive claims, from what is restricted, such as health and financial content.

Where EZ Newswire is stronger. If what you need is your release on reuters.com, Yahoo Finance or Business Insider, EZ Newswire’s Premium package offers it at a published price, and EZ says its Reuters placement isn’t available anywhere else. Its dashboards also report where a release appears in AI answers. For a company that wants named-domain placements and that kind of measurement in one package, it’s a coherent offer, and the price is printed on the page, which PR Newswire and GlobeNewswire still don’t do.

What Presswire does differently. Presswire’s distribution goes direct to newsrooms: each release gets a media list built for that announcement, and one of our editors, all former BBC journalists, reads it before it is sent. One region costs $250 and worldwide $400, between a third and just over half of EZ’s Starter price. If you also want wide online placement, online syndication to 400+ news sites including AP and USA Today is $290, which brings a one-region release to $540. For UK news, PA Mediapoint puts the release on the Press Association’s newswire for $235. See Presswire’s published prices and how press release distribution works at Presswire.
