EIN Presswire pricing (2026): what each package includes

EIN Presswire sells three packages: Basic at $149 for one release, Pro+ at $499 for five ($99.80 each) and Corporate at $999 for 15 ($66.60 each). Credits last 365 days. Higher tiers raise the word limit (700, 1,000 and 2,500 words) and the number of images (one, three and five). Every EIN Presswire figure here comes from its own pricing page and FAQ, checked on October 23, 2026.

EIN Presswire is a service of Newsmatics Inc., a privately held US company. It is a different company from Presswire, which publishes this guide, and the two have no connection. We set out the facts in Presswire and EIN Presswire: two different companies.

Prices are in US dollars. EIN Presswire’s pricing page doesn’t mention sales tax or VAT.

A limited-time offer on Pro+. On October 23, 2026, the page added one release to Pro+ for free (“Plus 1 press release for free! (limited-time offer)”), making six releases for $499, or $83.17 each. The page shows a countdown timer, so check whether the offer is still running before you buy.

EIN’s FAQ gives its range as “$50-$149 per release” and asks anyone interested in “larger bulk packages or white labeling” to contact it. The lowest per-release price printed on the pricing page itself is Corporate’s $66.60.

What every package includes

The distribution list is the same at every tier. In the page’s words, “All press release packages include AP News, Nexstar Media Group and the USA TODAY Network, reaching their combined 350 million monthly active users,” as well as major news sites, newswires, “targeted journalists and editorial rooms”, Google News and search engines. These rows are ticked for Basic, Pro+ and Corporate alike:

  • Placement on AP News (Associated Press).
  • Distribution to the USA TODAY Network, “based on relevance only”, and to U.S. TV and radio stations, also based on relevance.
  • “Exclusive Placement on 3,900+ Affinity Group Publications Based on Relevance”. EIN’s FAQ says these news sites “are owned by Newsmatics and are exclusive to EIN Presswire”.
  • Placement on news aggregators and research tools: Google News, Bloomberg Terminals, MuckRack, Moody’s NewsEdge, Naviga and MenaFN.
  • Distribution through EIN’s World Media Directory, based on relevance, and by email to registered EIN Newsdesk readers.
  • Placement on EIN Presswire, its network of partner sites and EIN Newsdesk publications you choose.
  • Release time scheduling, and same-day distribution “for verified accounts & during business hours”.
  • Detailed distribution reports, an ad-free release page, search-optimized title and meta tags and RSS syndication, plus embeds for a Google My Business listing, a stock symbol, a quote and a website.

Two kinds of distribution sit in that list. Most of it is placement: the release is published on sites and in feeds, many of them chosen by relevance. Delivery to journalists comes through the World Media Directory, which the FAQ describes as “a comprehensive, preeminent database of human-curated contact details for editorial desks and journalists”.

Placement means the release appears. It doesn’t mean a reporter writes about it, and EIN doesn’t claim otherwise: the guarantee in its FAQ covers publication “on the distribution networks that we control” and through gateway services such as Google News and AP News.

What changes as you move up a tier

Pro+ and Corporate are the same service as Basic with more credits, longer word limits, more images and wider targeting. The FAQ puts it this way: the main differences “are the number of press release credits included” and “the number of targets and features you can use.”

  • Basic, “$149 for news release”. “Only have 1 press release? We understand. This option is for you.” One country target, one industry target, 700 words and one image.
  • Pro+, “$499 for 5 releases”. Marked “Most Popular” and aimed at anyone who will “issue 6 or more press releases during the next 12 months”. Two country targets, five industry targets, 1,000 words and three images.
  • Corporate, “$999 for 15 releases”. 2,500 words and five images. Its country and industry targets are the same as Pro+: two and five.

The arithmetic is simple. Four Basic releases cost $596, so Pro+ is cheaper from the fourth release in a year. Two Pro+ packs cost $998 for 10 releases, and Corporate costs $999 for 15. Credits expire 365 days after purchase, although the FAQ says they “can be easily rolled over into a new purchase of the same level or higher for another year.” If you buy Basic and want to move up, the FAQ says to use the contact form to upgrade.

Word limits matter as much as volume. Neither the pricing page nor the FAQ lists a way to buy extra words. On those pages, a release over 700 words needs a Pro+ credit, and one over 1,000 words needs Corporate. If you send one long announcement a year, check its length before you choose Basic.

Payment, refunds and timing

  • No subscription. “EIN Presswire is a pay-as-you-go service, and we don’t require you to sign an annual contract or maintain a subscription.” You pay by credit card or PayPal.
  • Refunds. “Refunds are available if the package was purchased within the last 60 days and less than 25% of the credits were used.” They are prorated to the credits remaining.
  • New accounts. New customers go through “a one-time account verification check which may take up to two business days”.
  • Review time. After that, “it generally takes about two hours to review your release prior to distribution.” Releases are reviewed during business hours.

What the packages don’t include

EIN Presswire is open about its limits. Each point below comes from its own FAQ:

  • Writing. Asked whether it offers press release writing, the FAQ answers “Sorry, we don’t” and points to its free AI press release generator instead.
  • Copy editing. “While we do not provide full copy editing, we’re happy to make factual or technical corrections upon request.” The same answer says review before distribution “is at our discretion and not guaranteed”.
  • Yahoo Finance and financial disclosure. EIN feeds Bloomberg Terminals, “but this will not be enough to meet SEC publicly traded company financial disclosure requirements”. For Yahoo Finance, it says, you need PR Newswire, GlobeNewswire or Business Wire.
  • Rich formatting and followed links. No tables, lists, bold or italics. Releases carry three keyword anchor text links, and EIN “only allows for no-follow links”.
  • Non-English releases on AP News. “AP News does not accept non-English language press releases,” although EIN distributes other languages elsewhere.
  • A copy of the media list. “We do not allow the export of data from our World Media Directory,” and EIN does not rent or sell its lists.

Where EIN Presswire is cheaper. On price, EIN Presswire costs less at every level. One release is $149 against Presswire’s $250, and its bundles bring the price down to $66.60. AP News placement is in every EIN package; at Presswire, syndication to AP and 400+ news sites is a $290 add-on. If you want wide online placement for a run of announcements over a year, EIN’s bundles are hard to beat on cost.

What the extra money buys at Presswire. Every release is read by one of our editors, all former BBC journalists, before it is sent. Each release gets a bespoke media list built for that announcement. There are no word-count fees, images and embedded video are included, and releases are normally sent within one hour of receipt. For UK news, you can add delivery to the Press Association’s newswire through PA Mediapoint for $235. Every release is published on presswire.com and our Google News site.
