With Contensis R8.1 users have full governance with images, allowing master replacement and image versioning.
R8.1 includes full hyperlink management, giving an overview of all the images used across a website and a breakdown of the usage statistics for links.
Plus, videos are now fully responsive using HTML5.
Users can also experience the benefits of enhanced translation workflow, which sees multiple languages created at once, each time a new piece of content is created. The inclusion of a language indicator makes it easy to quickly spot which language you’re working in.
The new release management tool enables users to store up content created over a period of time and publish it all in one go. This will become an invaluable feature for many CMS users managing product releases, organisational changes and major site revisions.
Other new features in Contensis R8.1 include: Marketplace, New Recycle Bin, Administration of Forms, Audio Enhancements, Additions for Language Support, Content Schedules, File Size Restrictions, Enhanced Source Code Editor, Usage Statistics on Web Controls, Razor Properties, Local Template Editing and WebAPI Search Operators.
