Medicare plans rely heavily on this data, particularly in October each year, to finalize sales and marketing strategies prior to the start of the Open Enrollment on October 15th. Plans also use Medicare Benefits Analyzer™ for market analysis when preparing competitive bids for submission to CMS.
Subscribers to Medicare Benefits Analyzer use interactive tables and the file export library to download Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan data to assess which plans have competitive selling advantages county by county. In addition to the latest plan premiums, co-pays and benefits information, subscribers also have access to the latest membership data as well as Medicare Star Quality Ratings. MFA also offers the Medicare Cost Estimates by Health Status dataset as an additional add-on to MBA. This supplemental dataset provides cost estimates by plan and health status (Poor, Good and Excellent) organized for comparative analysis. MBA subscriptions include Medicare Business Online™ for access to monthly enrollment data.
