The GLS 2.0 joins a select group of products under consideration at the conference as part of the “Fast and Furious” new product competition.

 “Hearing loss is a natural part of the aging process, but when left unaddressed, it has been linked to mental decline, social isolation and depression,” says Jake Reisch, CEO and co-founder of Eversound. “We are excited to be working with some of the leading senior living communities to address such a critical need,” added Reisch.

The GLS 2.0 systems, which are sold in ten headphone sets, include a compact wireless transmitter that broadcasts the audio signal from any common audio source to all Eversound headphones within a 300-foot range. The headphones are designed to provide improved audio to seniors by concentrating on clear delivery of frequencies that are first impacted by age related hearing loss. They feature ergonomic controls and independent volume adjustment to allow users to enjoy audio content customized to their individual needs.

“We’re using Eversound as often as possible – for movies, lectures, fitness classes, musical performances, computer time, resident meetings and more,” says Courtney, Engagement Director. “Attendance is better because people can actually hear the entire program.”

Eversound has raised over $1.4M since launch from strategic angel investors involved in the senior living space and members of the Red Bear Angel Group.

Eversound will provide the first public unveiling of the new GLS 2.0 product in booth 1041 at the Argentum conference.
