National Night Out is an annual event that will take place August 5 nationwide. For more than 30 years, NNO has brought awareness to crime and drug prevention by encouraging stronger relationships among neighbors, communities and local law enforcement.
This year Associa is a national sponsor and is officially involved in 91 events across the country. Associa mascot Scout and Associa Green mascot Daisy plan to make appearances at about a dozen events supporting drug and crime free communities. In addition, hundreds of Associa employees will be personally volunteering and handing out items such as child ID kits, ASK temporary tattoos, Scout Safety Tip coloring books and other Associa Supports Kids items.

Associa Supports Kids, a National Sponsor for National Night Out 2014, is a value-added program for Associa community residents, designed to enhance the neighborhood community experience year-round. The program focuses on educating parents about child safety and fitness. At neighborhood events, Scout, the ASK mascot, hands out Safety Tip coloring books, plush Scout toys, rub-on tattoos, and Scout’s own autographed books.
