With this new date, comes an exciting new course for both runners and spectators, as the half marathon returns to its Exeter city centre origins. Amy Budd, Marketing Manager, GO2 said “The Great West Run is a highlight in the South West racing calendar. We are expecting over 3000 entries for this great event and look forward to creating a community experience for both runners and supporters alike.” Following feedback from runners and in collaboration with Exeter City Council, the course will take a new route, bringing the half marathon to the heart of Exeter, in one single lap. Maintaining the popular spectator points, the new route will continue to ensure great support for all who participate.
