Stealth Media: Gabriele Muccino signs with Spice Factory UK to tell the true story of the first mission of Greenpeace

Riders on the Storm, an action-packed, gripping and never been told true story about the founders of an independent global campaigning organisation, Greenpeace. The movie will tell the story of its pioneering mission in the Pacific Ocean to stop whaling.

The drama is based on the excerpts of Rex Wyler’s book documenting the earlier movements of Greenpeace that changed the ways we look at the world, and the organisation that became the world’s most powerful environmental organisation.

Muccino, an Italian born director and writer captured the attention of the American film industry when he won the Audience Award for World Cinema at Sundance Film Festival 2002. Will Smith, a multi-award winning actor, hand-picked Muccino to direct The Pursuit of Happyness in which he stared and produced. Muccino later collaborated with Will Smith once again in another drama film, Seven Pounds.

Stealth Media Group (http://stealthmediagroup.com/) believes this announcement will further enhance the interest in the film, which has already received great interest at this year’s Berlin and Cannes Film Festivals.
