Duncan Lewis is the largest Civil Legal Aid provider in the UK. Some of the key areas of law that the firm specialise in are Immigration and Human Rights. The firm are committed to upholding the Rule of Law and the rights of vulnerable people in the UK.
The firm are deeply concerned at the humanitarian crisis currently happening in Gaza and will be holding a charity football match at Wembley Power League in a bid to raise funds to help with the relief effort and Humanitarian Aid for the people of Gaza on 15th August 2014.
Toufique Hossain, Public Law Director and Solicitor at Duncan Lewis said, “We would like to raise as much money as possible for the people of Gaza. Here in the UK, we take for granted that we can play football without the fear of being shot dead. Sadly, the children of Gaza do not have that luxury. Raising money for the survivors of this crisis is the least we can do.”
All proceeds raised by the firm will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians, who have confirmed that they are operating a 100% donation policy and that all funds will be used strictly for Charitable purposes.
As well as members of Duncan Lewis, the firm have also invited a number of Barristers from various Chambers who have confirmed their attendance and donations.
The event will be held at Power League, Wembley Park, Royal Route, London HA9 0WS on 15th August 2014 7-10pm (5mins from Wembley Park Station).
