The course is aimed at both individual learners, and Schools, Colleges and Workplaces in Africa and Worldwide. On August 8th 2014, the World Health Organization declared the Ebola Outbreak an international public health emergency.

The course was developed using as core content World Health Organization, and the United States based CDC (Centre of Disease Control) guidelines.
