A seasoned investor and portfolio manager, O’Rourke will focus on developing the firm’s reach in the northeastern region of the U.S. O’Rourke brings 12 years of experience in debt and equity investing in a wide variety of sectors, including the consumer, manufacturing, technology, health care, and telecommunication industries.

Prior to joining the firm, O’Rourke served as a managing director at Lampe, Conway & Co., LLC, an investment fund based in New York that focuses on distressed and special situations investment, where he sourced and helped manage a large portfolio of investments. During his tenure, O’Rourke served as a board member or observer for a number of companies, including MOBI, a software-as-a-service company that centralizes and optimizes routing and scheduling for mobile resources.
A native New Jerseyan, O’Rourke holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was awarded First Years Honors; a J.D. from Stanford Law School; and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College, graduating magna cum laude. O’Rourke began his career clerking for Judge Adrian Duplantier, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He worked for several years as a corporate associate at Davis Polk, and as an investment banker at Thomas Weisel Partners and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
