All four handsets use Ascom Unite software for centralized device management and over-the-air updates.
“The new handsets underline two key facts,” says Roel Ottink, Director of Product Management and Marketing for Ascom’s mobility business. “One, the devices highlight our commitment to DECT as a standard for secure, stable and reliable communications. Two, the new Ascom d63 includes a white variant specifically tailored for Healthcare—joining the Ascom Myco smartphone in our line-up of products, solutions and services designed especially for hospitals, nurses, physicians and other Healthcare professionals.”
All four devices support encrypted communications, and conform to European Standard EN300 444 (feature N35) of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute. “The handsets,” adds Ottink, “offer the robust reliability that thousands of professional users associate with Ascom. And now we offer optional functionality, meaning customers can easily add extra messaging and personal alarm capabilities as their business and operational needs change over time.”
The new Ascom d43 and Ascom d63 DECT handsets will be officially launched on June, 2016. Requests for further information should be directed to local Ascom representatives (see www.ascom/ws for a list of Ascom representatives worldwide).
