Camfil Farr Publishes Groundbreaking Sustainability Report

This landmark (and wholly voluntary) report describes the company’s commitment to leadership in sustainable practices and policies. It covers, among other things, five specific areas of focus. These are: energy efficiency, indoor air quality, green products, the supply chain, and risk management.

In Camfil Farr’s view, a commitment to sustainability is vital for long-term growth, and essential for understanding the social and environmental concerns of customers, employees and other stakeholders.

Climate change, and a growing awareness about resource conservation, are adding greater urgency to the need for meaningful solutions from the air filtration industry. Delivering high quality indoor air, reducing the energy use of air handling systems with better filters, and a cradle-to-grave approach to product management, all contribute to this important process.

Camfil Farr has been “greening” its operations, and those of its customers, for nearly half a century. By establishing a new sustainability code, and implementing a continuous sustainability program, Camfil Farr takes a major step toward becoming a leading global business that is both socially responsible, and environmentally friendly.
